NEURO2026 will be held at the Kobe Convention Center, Japan from July 30 to August 2, 2026 under the theme “Let Future Neuroscientists Take Off!”. This exciting meeting aims to nurture the next generation of brain science leaders and promote knowledge exchange across multidisciplinary fields.

The 49th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society (JNS), the 69th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry, and the 36th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Neural Network Society.
-Official Language: English (used in almost all sessions).
-Scale: Approximately 4,000 participants, including around 500 international attendees.
-Collaboration: Promoting interaction with neuroscience societies across the Asia-Pacific region, the United States, and Europe through joint symposia and travel support programs.
-Focus:Fostering young scientists and encouraging international and interdisciplinary collaboration in both basic and clinical neuroscience.
Travel Award Benefits
-120,000 JPY as partial support for travel and accommodation expenses (awardees will arrange their own travel and lodging).

-Invitation to the International Exchange Meeting for Young Researchers and a get-together party on the day before NEURO2026, promoting exchange between young researchers from Japan and abroad.
-Invitation to a reception during NEURO2026 (if held).
Conditions
-Award recipients will receive the grant in Japanese yen at the meeting venue.
-Attendance at “The International Exchange Meeting for Young Researchers” is mandatory. This event will be held on July 29 around 17:00, so please ensure sufficient travel time from the airport to the venue.
-Recipients who do not attend NEURO2026 or fail to present their work will have their award revoked.
