To support and empower the next generation of neuroscientists, the Chinese Neuroscience Society (CNS) is pleased to collaborate with the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) to host the IBRO–CNS ECR Session, part of the IBRO-funded International Youth Forum, during CNS 2025.
This special session offers early career researchers a valuable platform to present their work, engage in scientific exchange, and build international connections.
We warmly welcome applications from eligible candidates and encourage you to share this opportunity widely.
Eligibility Criteria
1.Be a member of CNS
2.Be from a country within the IBRO Asia-Pacific Regional Committee (IBRO-APRC), excluding China
3.Be a PhD student in neuroscience or an early-stage postdoctoral fellow
4.Have completed conference registration.
Required Application Materials
1.Curriculum Vitae (CV)
2.Publication list, including PDF copies of 3–5 representative papers (first pages only)
3.A copy of the abstract will be submitted to CNS 2025
4.A letter of recommendation from the current academic advisor or supervisor
(must be sent directly by the recommender)
5.A copy of the passport photo page
All documents should be submitted in PDF format.
Grant Details
1.Selected recipients will each receive a travel grant of up to USD 800, based on their travel itinerary.
2.Selected recipients will be invited to present their research during IBRO-Funded International Youth Forum.
Note:
1.Selected recipients are not eligible to receive other CNS travel or presentation awards.
2.Failure to register or present without prior notification may impact eligibility for future CNS
